The Region 6 coverage area includes the counties of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Washington and Westmoreland.
James Marsh
James Marsh serves as the Region 6 Law Enforcement Liaison at the Highway Safety Network. With 42 years of experience in Law Enforcement and Highway Safety, Jim brings a wealth of expertise to his role. He started his career in 1982 at Elizabeth Township Police Department as a police officer, later joining Highway Safety Network in 2007. During his time with the Highway Safety Network, he has become a vital link between police agencies and PennDOT, through monitoring police activities in all aspects of training and safety in compliance with traffic laws for the motoring public adherence.
In his role as Law Enforcement Liaison, Jim is responsible for ensuring all focus areas of aggressive driving, occupant protection and pedestrian are met, as well as other police training. He works closely with local law enforcement, FOP members, District Magistrates and other community governments to educate all with updated traffic laws.
Outside of work, Jim enjoys traveling, golfing and family time, which reflects his commitment to giving back to the community in which he lives and serves.
